Once again Captain Schlaut and Captain Ron will take you on a journey into the depths of Lake Shasta for a psychedelic show down of the west coast's finest live acts and DJs.

Last year was another fine example of what the combination of great friends, music, location, and aquatic sports can bring when sailing the Shake Lasta Seas.

Again this year we will feature 3 boats, 3 nights and 2 days of music and mayhem for all to enjoy. We will have the same two types of boats we had last year that provides a great large stage/dance area for all to enjoy.

For those who have yet to experience the Shake Lasta experience, it's kind of like this...

The event was created in an effort to align the various talents of those involved in the psychedelic music community throughout the west coast. Two boats set sail Friday (9/30) afternoon and return Monday (10/3) morning. We sail the beautiful Shasta Seas in search of which cove we decide to call our own. Then we transform the boats and land around us into our own private psychedelic Oasis in which we set up a sound system, food, drink, deco, and anything one has to offer to the experience.

This will be the 4th year running and there are no signs of stopping. The experiences shared on these boats are one of a kind and leave many deep memories.

There are a few changes this year that will make it even more of a blast. First of all, it's a few weeks earlier, which means it will be even warmer, which = more water fun!

Additionally, the lake is rain fed, which means its warmer, and secondly due to the amount of rain we got this year it will be at a higher level. This means more shoreline, and more beautiful green surroundings.

This year I hope to bring back Dark Soho, and am currently in talks with Chrisbo about coming along as our special guests. If there is anyone else you have in mind (who are within reach) to bless us with his or her music, please feel free to suggest.

The pricing structure breaks down like this...

Boat #1 - Odyssey

Bunk/Couch/Fold Out bed = $175 per person (11 Available)
Wherever Clever = $150 per person (5 available)

Boat #2 - Stargazer

Shared Staterooms = $175 per person (6 available)
Wherever Clever = $150 per person (4 available)

Boat #3 - Royal Star

Shared Staterooms = $175 per person
Wherever Clever = $150 per person

In the "wherever clever" category there is also the option of bringing a tent to shore and shacking up in there. However, if we don't leave the docks early enough we might be stuck with a location that has a tough shore to camp on. This 100% depends on the timeliness of our guests.

I am trying to get a roll call in order to reserve the right amount of boats and toys. Please let me know where you are at when you can.

If you can offer services such as cooking/captain/etc. there will be discounted access. If we are able to get enough on board, most food/drink will be taken care of. I am also looking into Seadoo rental and featured guest artists/DJs.

Registration is needed ASAP in order to hold your spot, and all funds will need to be in by July 20th. All reservations on a first come first serve basis.
